Our Story
MUMS Hajj & Umrah, Mercy Upon Mankind Services, was founded on a simple conviction: that those who answer the call to the House of Allah deserve companions who place their spiritual wellbeing above all else. Operating under SM Affinity Ltd here in England, we accompany pilgrims through every stage of Hajj and ʿUmrah, from the first stirring of intention to the quiet return home.
Our name is not a slogan but a responsibility. We take our inspiration from the words of Allah about His Messenger ﷺ, “And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds” (Qur’ān 21:107). Our name Mercy Upon Mankind is to aspire, however humbly, to reflect that example: to serve with honesty, to protect the vulnerable and to ask for nothing that Allah has not made lawful.
Who We Are
We are a team devoted to the service of pilgrims, drawing on experience, careful planning and a deep respect for the sacredness of the journey. We have decades of experience undertaking pilgrimage and providing guidance and support to pilgims.
For enquiries and guidance, our pilgrims are warmly cared for by Hajia Mulkah Ibrahim and the wider MUMS team.
What We Stand For
Islamic integrity:
Everything we do is measured against the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah. We will never endorse or profit from practices that exploit the sincerity of worshippers, including the buying and selling of supplications.
Protecting the pilgrim:
The journey can attract those who would take advantage of the earnest and the unaware. We stand as a safeguard, offering honest counsel and transparent arrangements, so that your focus can remain on your worship.
Thorough preparation:
A blessed journey is a prepared one. We attend to the spiritual, the practical and the logistical alike, so that you set out with knowledge, peace of mind and readiness of heart.
